Dom demonstrates the modifications required to run the classic fpga4fun HDMI project on newer Xilinx FPGAs using Vivado.

My updated code: github.com/dominic-meads/HDMI_FPGA/tree/master/HDMI_FPGA4fun Not a HDMI tutorial, just showing what changes needed to be made to make the code work for newer Xilinx FPGAs. FPGA4fun HDMI project code found here (I think its from ISE): fpga4fun.com/HDMI.html

HDMI Output Pynq Z2 PL Hi! Does anyone have any guides or files that I can use to get my board to output something using HDMI using only PL? I've tried this guide but it only displays for a second then the screen turns black. Might be a clock issue which is why I want to find something that works specifically for my board. [video

The fpga4fun resources are good too. They're in Verilog, but even as a beginner I had no problem converting to VHDL: https://www.fpga4fun.com/HDMI.html [video
